An alternative camp light I use is the Petzl Noctilght (85g) which doubles as a case for my Tikka+ headlamp. Its my one luxury item & it may seem gimmicky, but it's actually pretty useful on winter camping trips especially when relocating the tent in the dark/fog could become an exercise in navigation! It diffuses the light to make the tent a bit more homely on long evenings. With a spare e+light, all illumination scenarios covered.
