Hi Chris. Love your blog - been following it for more than a year now. Was wondering about the Ecco Biom Hike boots - does the sole have a rating? Interested in what type of crampons they would take, or are they more a warm walking boot, as the name suggests? Keep up the good work, CJ
CJ, the boots don't have a rating. I suspect it would be 0 as they are quite bendy. I'd happily use walking crampons with them and will do so next winter.
