Rab Infinity Review
A down jacket has been ideal for keeping warm in the freezing weather of the last five weeks. A new one on the market this winter is the Rab Infinity, which I've been testing. My review is now up on the TGO website here.
Photo info: the Rab Infinity keeping me warm in freezing weather in Strathspey. Canon 450D, Canon EF 50mm f1.8 lens, 1/1000@f4.5, ISO 200, raw file processed in Lightroom 3.

Couldn't agree more with your review, Chris.
ReplyDeleteI've been using the Infinity for a while and love it.

I reviewed it recently and found much the same - it's a very, very good jacket. That said, I found an almost identical jacket by Millet whilst in Denmark. That also uses Pertex Quantum which I thought only Rab and TNF were using at the moment - might be the old Quantum rather than the Quantum GL. In any event, it's a great jacket.
ReplyDeleteThat a sample you got there, Chris?
ReplyDeleteI'm only aware of the orange and blue jackets.
Terry, three colours are listed on the Rab website - blue, dark shark and juicy! I think mine must be the dark shark. It's a slight second - some threads were marked as having pulled on one arm, though not enough to affect performance - but not a sample, as far as I know.
ReplyDeleteGood looking, homey!
ReplyDeleteAgreed with above comments - the dark shark is basically black from what I can tell.
Your jacket has a more bronzed hue. Is that a trick of the photography? If not, would be useful to know the exact colour - great jacket.
The picture is reasonably accurate. I'd say the jacket was mid grey.
